No one was making pre-made organic cookie dough. When we’re craving a dessert, we wanted be able to pick a higher quality option. Why could I not go into the store and find a single organic cookie dough?
You had to either make all of your dough at the same time, or go through the effort of storing it in the freezer after opening which meant breaking all of the dough squares up before putting into some kind of container for the freezer.
The experience didn’t feel luxurious. Easy and luxurious are things that usually contradict themselves–but why? Did it have to be that way?
The result? Two sisters naive-ly starting a frozen, organic cookie dough company.
